Material Library Update - 01/19. Happy New Year and a warm thank you on behalf of the whole VRscans team here for being with us throughout the last year! It has been a long time coming, and admittedly, we did not keep our promise to double the size of the library by 2018. I wanted to share with you the latest development and what we have.
Chaos Group VRscans
Overview The VRScan material allows the rendering of scanned BRDF material data stored in .vrscan files. These files are produced by Chaos Group's own internal material scanner and accompanying material creator software. With V-Ray 6, the Scanned Material doesn't require a separate from Chaos license to work correctly.
